Bank Gaborone Limited

Bank Gaborone is a wholly owned subsidiary of CIH Botswana (Pty) Ltd, in which CIH holds a 95.4% interest.  In February 2006 the Bank of Botswana issued a license to Bank Gaborone to commence with its full scale retail banking business. The initial focus was to set up operations, systems and processes and recruit the right people in key positions.
The bank opened its doors to the banking public in Botswana in September 2006, offering a suite of competitive products to clients, while refining its entry strategy and developing the bank’s brand identity.
Bank Gaborone currently has two branches in Gaborone, and a third located in Francistown. More branches in Molepolole and Ghanzi are planned.
