Group Professional Services (GPS) was established in 2008 and is a division of the Capricorn Investment Holdings (CIH) Group, a successful and diverse Namibian holding company with interests in banking, insurance, asset management, investments and micro finance.
The establishment GPS followed a recognition of the need to separate and clarify the roles and focus of the CIH Group (specifically the Executive function) and the (then) CIH Corporate Office.
GPS’ association with the CIH Group and the fact that they are able to offer the best of breed professional services enables them to provide both internal (group-) and external clients with the highest standard advisory and consulting services.
Their primary role is to support the group’s subsidiaries that do not own the specific professional services functions that they offer, as well as to leverage economies of shared services and resources.
